wowTrader Bare Bones now Functional!
The Site Is Live!
http://wowtrader.org.uk is up and running! It is got some starting data (about 3 million auctions) so you can get a feel for the look of functionality. I will continue to populate the site with EU-Hellscream data and as much data from other realms as I can connect to. You can already log in, upload data and create a custom home page with the items you trade most often in.
The Graphs
Primarily the site is built around the ability to view World of Warcraft©® auction house prices over time for your server so you know what items are actually worth. Each item has an individual page with graphs showing recent history, long term trending, availability and historic price distribution. The graphs are all rendered using HTML5 so sorry if you use an old IE (maybe its time to upgrade your browser).
There are many great addons for WoW with auctioneer being my favourite (and in fact the addon that is used to get the auction house prices) but known the avg price won’t help if the prices are crashing or increasing due to a patch or in game event. Viewing the history and watching the trends on wowtrader can save you or make you a lot of money!
This Blog
I am going to use this blog for two purposes, one is to highlight great sites I find on the net, and there are many for legitimately making in game money on WoW. There are no need at all for gold sellers and I personally think they ruin the game. The second purpose will be a bit of self promotion to announce new features. Watch this space for announcements soon!
Nice to see a site for tracking auction house data across the pond for our UK friends.
Didn’t see a contact form, but I would like to be featured in your blogroll and/or RSS feeds.
